The County of Los Angeles has launched a public awareness campaign for residents to submit feedback to the FCC and CPUC regarding maps that identify priority areas for broadband infrastructure investments. Historically underserved communities are not considered a priority for broadband infrastructure funding based on maps published by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This means that millions of dollars in investments could bypass neighborhoods with the highest need for more affordable and reliable high-speed internet.
