What is CIRCLE? CIRCLE is an unarmed response program that
● Deploys trained teams to address non-urgent LAPD calls related to unhoused individuals
● Conducts follow-up and proactive outreach to unhoused individuals
Started as a 6-month pilot program in January 2022 in Hollywood and Venice by the Mayor’s Office in partnership with the nonprofit Urban Alchemy. Has since expanded to additional communities throughout the City of LA. READ MORE
So do more to help the homeless by giving them snacks and safe places to rest? Add tiny homes by our public pool so kids have to go swim where homeless are showering? Use more and more tax payer money for people who abuse the help and allow our kids to see drug use while waterfront park hasn't been fully functional in YEARS! We don't need a Starbucks we need our park fixed we need to allow law enforcement to do their job, not create BS jobs like the "Circle" idea. Help our kids and taxpayers!
